The project “Electronic signal box Leipzig-Leutzsch/Plagwitz” encompasses the measures of 3 external electronic signal boxes (ESTW-A).

In connection with this, the railway systems were fitted with new safety technology, and a track plan optimisation was carried out.

In connection with the erection of the electronic signal box and the track plan optimisation, new overhead contact line systems were erected, and all new systems were provided with electricity, 3 railway overpasses were replaced, and 6 railway crossings were built.
