Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) as the service provider, are responsible for local public transport in the city of Leipzig.

To increase the attractiveness of the services offered, LVB regularly invests in the expansion of their route network.

In the course of implementing these measures, the business area of investment and properties amongst others, is also responsible for the organisation and implementation of investment measures at LVB, in the area of expansion of suburban railway tracks and individual investments (stops).

The projects are coordinated by the business area within LVB, represented against third parties (e.g. planning offices, city of Leipzig, authorities, construction companies etc.) and coordinated with the LVB funding body.

Thereby, ensuring the quality and implementation of the regulations/framework conditions of the LVB is very important.

LVB commissioned Vössing to support the aforementioned tasks.
