Project description
In the years up to 2010 a multitude of projects were planned and implemented in the greater area of Halle/Leipzig.
These were investment processes of route management, central procedures and procedures of third parties that affected the railway.
Derived from an availability analysis of the infrastructure, maintenance and investment measures had to be compared to each other, so that unnecessary maintenance and lost investments could be avoided.
This primarily included recording, calculating and analysing the mutual influence and dependence of the projects, in the planning area, from technical, construction technology and logistical (e.g. storage capacities, usability of facilities in the construction field) points of view, when considering the relevant work status of the projects in the planning area.
The long term preparation of security related building conditions also had to be taken into consideration.
