Project description

The planned A 26 East in South Hamburg, as the so called harbour link road, provides the West - East connection between the motorways A 7 and A 1, and relieves the Northbound connecting axis with the Köhlbrand bridge.

The planned section of the transport unit 7052, approx. 4 km long, runs from Hamburg-Moorburg across the Süderelbe (Southern Elbe), through the Southern harbour area to Hohe Schaar.

Therefore, due to the many bottlenecks, the motorway is routed as an elevated bridge construction for almost the whole section.

The commissioned planning services encompass:

Route planning of the A 26 including a junction at Kattwykdamm on the +1-level, and the accompanying traffic light calculations.

Furthermore, all bridges and supporting walls are planned, with the exception of the Süderelbe bridge.
