Project description
In a 17.5-km-long planning phase from Lubien to Rabka, the DK 7 was expanded into a high performance fast road, with two carriageways per direction, incl. hard shoulders and a planned extension into the Republic of Slovakia.
Several through-roads and the bypass around the mountain “Maly Lubon” could be eliminated by a changed route.
Junctions were built near the towns of Skomielna and Zabornia.
The route will have three service stations and 30 civil engineering structures added to it.
You can drive underneath the mountain “Maly Lubon” with a tunnel approx. 2 km long.
