New build of TRAM depot Ständlerstraße

Extensive replanning of the tram depot at Ständlerstraße in Munich Giesing:

Taking into consideration the listed existing building, the Ständlerstraße depot will be adapted to future requirements. The background is the acquisition of longer vehicles and the accompanying replacement of the whole infrastructure on the premises.

The plans include a new build of the workshop with 12 workbenches including ancillary workshops, taking into account contemporary workshop processes, the new build of a vehicle parking area with a stabling length track of min. 4,000 m, the new build of a central warehouse with a total of 10,000 m² usable area, and the new build of the administrative building and a canteen for the employees working there.
