Project description
The construction of the New Line Copenhagen – Ringsted as part of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) improves the rail connection of Scandinavia to the rest of Europe.
The double track route is planned according to the TSI criteria, and prepared for speeds up to 250 km/h.
The approx. 57,7 km route will run for approx. 30 km bundled with the existing motorway E 20.
Due to the multitude of constraint points and bisection of roads and link routes, approx. 200 engineering structures and various relocations of roads and routes will be required, which in turn require extensive agreements with road directions and communities.
The optimisation of the gradients of the existing planning principle, is a necessary part of the services.
In the underpasses, the routing requirements of the train, and the height constraint points of roads and motorways, often require depth locations in the area of influence of the ground water level near the surface.
