Project:
Town planning concept for new build of the 3S headquarters in Hanover

Service period:
2010 – 2013

Project client:
DB Station & Service AG

Project volume:
€ 1,500,000

Project description

The main train station in Hanover is getting a 3S headquarters (safety – cleanliness – service), in its function as a crucial hub in the train network.

Currently, the uses are decentralised in various rail transport locations. There is no direct link to the happenings at the main train station. The planned new building spans the so called passage from the car park at Raschplatz. This means that the 3S uses can be housed in relation to the tracks.

In future, the base area of the building will include commercial areas, which could serve as ticket sales areas and can be reached both externally, and from the passage of the main train station.
