VDE 8.1 NBS Ebensfeld – Erfurt, permanent track, section North Erfurt (a) – Ilmenau (e)

Part of the plan for federal traffic routes is the transport project German unity no. 8.1, which provides the connection of the cities of Nuremberg and Erfurt, via new and/or expanded rail routes, while including the hub of Erfurt to link the new line Ebensfeld – Erfurt to the new line Erfurt – Leipzig/Halle.

Vössing will supervise the manufacture of the permanent track, including the overhead contact pylons in the section Erfurt (a) – Ilmenau.

In the 32 km long double track section, the permanent track will be laid by the construction firm Max Bögl (design “System FF Bögl”).

In addition, services for deadline and cost control, plan coordination and plan checking, as well as ecological construction supervision, and health and safety coordination services will also be provided.
