Factory expansion for Porsche-Leipzig

To manufacture the new Macan series by PORSCHE AG, an expansion of the existing factory in Leipzig was required.

This was carried out in a westerly direction, on the existing factory premises.

The new premises can be accessed via a new junction as a roundabout.

The areas still to be planned, are divided into service roads, pavements, the gates, the employee car park and the finished vehicle car park.

In addition, adjustment works were carried out to the existing structures, such as loading zones/low docks with concrete surfaces and supporting walls.

Areas with a layover function, and the employee car parks were executed in plaster or water resistant coating.

Furthermore, the surface drainage had to be planned via a ditch and trench system, which also serves to retain rainwater before discharge into the sewer.

The planning was carried out in intensive cooperation with architecture, open space planning and technical equipment.

The construction supervision was also performed.
