Opis projektu
The long-term development predicted for the regional capital of Munich leads to a significant demand trend in the centre of Munich, particularly on the North-South relations of the U3 and the U6.
The project plans a new inner city route "U9" in the existing underground network.
The aim is to create a new direct connection from the station Münchner Freiheit via the central train station to Implerstraße, with optional stops in the area of the Pinakotheken and Theresienwiese and a link to the 2nd suburban railway mainline at Munich central train station.
In the course of the study, various route variants were analysed, and the structural feasibility was presented, taking into consideration the track layout requirements.
In an in-depth analysis, the location of the central train station, a four-track train station and the structure of the transfer connections for the existing facilities were investigated in detail, and presented in a 3D model.
