Opis projektu

The legal evaluation had the result that, in accordance with the current applicable legal situation, a fully accessible self-rescue from non-publicly accessible BOStrab [COO] facilities (particularly tunnels) does not need to be enabled.

Taking into account existing technical regulations, requirements for an ideally typical design of non-publicly accessible facilities and vehicles were derived, which should enable fully accessible self-rescue.

Ideally typical solutions were developed for a wide range of tunnel systems.

The analysis showed, that the current standard tunnel in accordance with BOStrab [COO] already has a very high safety level.

Fires in tunnels are a very rare occurrence.

Further improvements are possible via ideally typical variants of the structure.

This was shown for various structural situations in the study.

With regards to the cost effectiveness however, no variant proved to be worth carrying out.
