Opis projektu
To create a fast and high performance connection of the new Munich airport at Erdinger Moos to the regional and long distance transport and Munich city centre, DB Magnetbahn GmbH planned a magnetic train connection between Munich central train station and the airport.
The aim of this measure should be the reduction of travel time from approx. 40 minutes with the suburban railway to 10 minutes with the Transrapid.
The approx. 40 km long route should initially run underground from the central train station, and later, parallel to the federal motorway A 92 to the airport, and end in an underground station.
The planning approval process incl. the whole objection handling, was supervised.
