Opis projektu
The Indonesian capital city of Jakarta has a suburban railway system, which provides connections to Bogor, Tanggerang and Bekasi, on the network of the Indonesian rail company. The network has a spread of approx. 150km of electrified track.
To modernise these tracks and increase the performance, the Indonesian ministry of transport drew up an FIDIC engineering contract with Hamburg-Consult GmbH, in cooperation with the German development bank, to purchase new trains, and for additional modernisation and upgrading measures.
In cooperation with Hamburg-Consult GmbH, Vössing inspected the signalling technology, the train radio system and the telecommunications systems, and developed a technical specification for upgrading measures in these areas.
