New build railway overpass viaduct Weißenbrunn am Forst

The RO viaduct Weißenbrunn a. F. and the disposal site Breites Stück are in the district of Untersiemau in the section BA (construction phase) 3110 Staffelstein.

The construction measure included the manufacture of the 614 metre long valley bridge RO viaduct Weißenbrunn am Forst, including the bridge drainage, backfilling and embankment of the South abutment, terraced embankment and advance services for the future retrofitting of the superstructure, overhead contact line and equipment for CST and TC.

Furthermore, an installation area for the bridge inspection device, a turning place, an entrance to the south abutment and a rain water retention basin as a seepage basin were manufactured.

Furthermore, lines were secured, and a construction road, which partially remains for later measures, was built.

The viaduct (frame with V-struts) was built from steel and prestressed concrete, with a frame span of 76 metres and an altitude of approx. 40 metres above the valley, and manufactured using cantilever constructions and launching truss.
