Projekt:
New residential construction Saalfelder Straße in Leipzig

The LWB is building a housing development on the Saalfelder Straße plot, from a building complex consisting of 18 houses, which are arranged around two courtyards.

There will be 300 residential units with 1 to 5 room flats, and a living area of approx. 19,700 m²; and a half submerged underground garage on a plot size of approx. 12,000 m².

The aim of the project is to build 100 % funded rental flats according to the provisions of the guideline of the Saxony State Ministry of the Interior on funding the creation of rental price and occupancy controlled rented housing (RLgMW), and make them available to a wide range of the population, for affordable housing with absolute rent.

To achieve the project aim, reproducibility of the house elements and an optimised arrangement of the individual residences has been ensured

The property will be surrounded by the streets Saalfelder, Gröppler-, Holberg- and Demmeringstraße.
