Opis projektu
The train station “Berlin Central Station – Lehrter train station” links long distance, regional and suburban railways in the over ground East-West direction with the underground North-South direction.
The two approx. 46 m high arched buildings span the over ground East-West track, over a width of 87 m like a bridge. The North-South roof in between, spans the 46 m wide and 160 m long station entrance hall.
The main parts of the construction supervision services were the shell construction with the facades of the arched building, the construction of the North-South glass roof with the North-South main entrance facades and the East and West sides and outer facades.
Furthermore, the construction supervision of the height access technology (HAT) for the arched structures and the glass rooves of the semi-automated cleaning systems (SACS), the glass rooves and the base expansions SE and TBS of the arched structures took place.
